Discovering the joy of falafel in Paris is something I'll never forget. I'm also from San Diego, and just as much as I was craving burritos in Paris, I crave good falafel in San Diego. It seems impossible to find a decent place for falafel down here. My favorite of the places in "Falafel Alley" was King Falafel, and since I was staying with some friends on that very street we went there several times. This review is great, it really takes me back.

[...] Bubbles Dietbar’s healthy outlook made me feel like a downright felon tonight. It probably also makes many others feel the pang of guilt as they walk past this tiny cafe of diet goodness. It’s bad enough that I have to pass it as I walk over to Falafel Alley.
